The Lesesne House, also referred to as the “Crown Jewel of Centre Street,” is one of the major points of interest in the historic district and has been listed in the National Register of Historic Places since in 1973. Formal dining rooms and parlors showcase a collection of museum-caliber artwork and antiques, while a two-century-old Live Oak tree is the centerpiece of sunlit courtyards, manicured lawns, and an elegant carriage house.
Kristen Sparrow Circus will once again dazzle the audience with exclusive performances from Victorian attired stilt walkers, talented jugglers, and a Dickens-era Penny Farthing expert bike rider that you’ll never forget. Prepare to be amazed by the specialty Fire & Ice performance that will light up your life and leave you in awe. You won’t want to miss this!
Additionally, Dickens After Dark attendees will experience a musical journey with Mama Blue, who will have you busting your best dance moves. Known to put the “live” in live performance, Mama Blue’s original music is inspired by Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Alicia Keys and Nina Simone as well as rock bands like Queen and The Rolling Stones. The best party of the year will also have the best music!
Entertainment presented by Jacksonville International Airport.
