Amelia Island Museum of History

Florida’s first spoken history museum, offers tours, exhibits, an interactive children’s area, and more, providing a fascinating glimpse into the storied past of this legendary island. The storytelling tradition continues with a variety of tours that cater to many interests and age levels.

Walking tours take groups up Historic Centre Street and into the Silk Stocking District introducing them to the many great historical figures who influenced the architecture and business on the island. (These tours can be modified for children.)  Ghost tours are also offered.

The Amelia Island Museum of History is wheelchair accessible and also has self-guided tour resources for the hearing impaired.
