From coffee shops and spa visits to famous lobster rolls and festivals of stories, songs and music, the tradition of island hospitality just keeps getting better with these most recent and soon-to-come additions to the Amelia Island scene.
Who wouldn’t enjoy a weekend of songs and great storytelling? Story & Song Center for the Arts is excited to bring this inaugural festival to Amelia Island on February 2 – 4, 2024. Kick-off the weekend with a Storytelling Workshop for Writers, followed by multiple events throughout the weekend. Attend just a few events or purchase a passport to the entire festival. Now in its 23rd season, the Amelia Island Chamber Music Festival has become one of the most prestigious music events of its kind in the southeast and a star-studded line-up is once again planned for this year. The season kicks off on January 14 with pianist William Ransom, AICMF’s new artistic director. Come hear and meet him, along with his wife violist Yinzi Kong. Tickets are booking quickly for these as well as all the incredible performances taking place from January to June.
The Spa at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island isn’t a “new thing”. They’ve been making folks feel relaxed and beautiful for years. However, at the moment, this gorgeous facility is undergoing a transformation to be unveiled in March, 2024 and we can’t wait. In the meantime, the Spa has relocated to a private space on the 2nd floor so you can still get the treatments you’ve come to love.
