Amelia Island Downtown Tasting Tours offers two incredible experiences focusing on the wonderful food and beverage of historic downtown Fernandina Beach. Tour guests will enjoy meeting the owners, chefs and bartenders who make our quaint downtown a terrific place filled with delicious eats, delightful cocktails, character and charm.
This tour visits two downtown restaurants and two fun bars where delicious creations have been prepared especially for tour guests. For 2.5 hours you’ll take a pleasant stroll through downtown, where your guide will provide a taste of the colorful history of this “Isle of 8 Flags.” It is a great way to get an introduction to the island and scope our restaurants you might like to visit later in your stay or the next time you visit. (Note that the tour takes place during appetizer time, 2:30 to 5pm, and with the generous samplings, you may not be hungry for dinner!)
$80/person. Please bring your ID to enjoy adult beverages! Private Group Tours are also available.
Get ready for a “mobile cocktail party.” Guests on this two-hour tour hear about the history of four fabled watering holes and meet the fun, creative mixologists who will share their stories about the art and craft of mixing cocktails as well as a look at each bar’s history. At the end of the tour, you’ll vote for your favorite bartender! While walking between stops, your guide will provide the history of cocktails (and bootlegging) on Amelia Island. This tour is well-suited for office outings, pre-dinner drinks, birthdays, or bachelorette parties. 5:30 to 7:30pm.
$45/person. Please bring your ID to enjoy adult beverages! Private Group Tours are also available.
Check out the tour calendar and book your tickets now for an upcoming tour. They sell out quickly as each tour only allows 14 people per tour to allow for a more intimate experience.
