Amelia Island is a shoppers paradise with everything from upscale luxury items to discount bargains. It’s a place where antiques are celebrated as they once were or shined up and restored like new. Whether you’re looking for something in particular to complement your home or just window shopping, you’ll want to make a stop in one of these 8 antique stores scattered around the island.
Island Treasures is an eccentric shop filled with antiques, home decor, and a huge library of new and used books. I mean, this is seriously a book lovers dream with books in every nook and corner! Take a stroll through the outdoor gardens to peruse the plants and amazing garden statues in all shapes and sizes. This shop has a little bit of everything.
1104 S 8th Street.
Eight Flags Antique Market has been a staple in downtown Fernandina for over 30 years and is packed with treasures. You could easily spend an entire day wandering the aisles of this fabulous store and still not see everything. Old postcards, vinyl records, furniture, statues, light fixtures, vintage clothing and more can be found in the various consignment booths.
602 Centre Street.
Filled with everything from secondhand finds and yard art to primitive antiques and farmhouse paints, Trailer Park Collectibles has over 5,000 square feet of goodies. All of the consignment booths are well stocked, decorated, and labeled. Don’t forget to visit Rustic Records in the back of the store for a great collection of vinyl records.
702 Centre Street.
With a “homey” atmosphere and variety of vendors, Antiques and More Treasures is a popular shopping stop along South 8th Street. In addition to antiques you can also find gifts, clothing, homemade jewelry, handmade soaps and the creatively crafted benches that line the store’s breezeway.
329 S 8th Street.
Filled with collections of gorgeous English and French antiques, new furniture, home accessories, gifts and more, The Plantation Shop has been furnishing and accessorizing homes for over 40 years. Stop in today and have a look around. You’ll find a great selection of unique and well-crafted merchandise in every price point. Located in Palmetto Walk Shopping Center on the island’s south end.
4828 First Coast Hwy.
If you need a vintage sign, house shutters, an old door, crystal, antique dishes, cobalt glassware, or vintage coca cola merchandise, New Possibilities probably has it. There is a little bit of everything here and the treasure is bountiful. Look for the building with the gorgous flowered mural on the side wall and get shopping!

“Where Coastal Meets Antiques” is the byline of The Resale Project, a private, in-home and virtual estate sales company that has been servicing Amelia Island and beyond since 2011. Their Warehouse on 8th Street houses antique furniture, rugs, dishes, decor and more in beautiful displays. Stop in to browse all of the treasures that were once loved so well.
