Empty Nester Getaway

According to Webster, the definition of an Empty Nest is "A household consisting only of a parent or parents whose children have grown up and left home". I know! That description sounds so sad. But, it doesn't have to be. Couples that don't have children living at home often embrace a lifestyle marked by independence and flexibility with a renewed focus on their personal and mutual interests. Not to mention more disposable income! Whether you're an "empty nester" or a DINK (double income, no children) that's been stuck in a corporate rut, Amelia Island beckons you to fall back in love with your independent and adventurous side.

The duck pinz balls are smaller and there are no finger holes in them and the pins are shorter and lighter than traditional bowling. Also, did I mention that there’s a craft cocktail and bourbon bar upstairs overlooking the alley’s? Side Note: If bowling isn’t your thing, try your luck at Gregor MacGregor’s Mini Links and Drinks right down the street.
